Which Suits Aquarius Best: Lilac Stone or Sodalite?

I’ve finished designing Pendulets for every sign of the zodiac. I’m torn, however, between two gemstones to represent Aquarius: lilac stone and sodalite. Which one do you prefer?

Read on if you’d like more information before you make your decision.

About Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Aquarians are the forward-thinking, progressive people of the zodiac. They are visionaries, revolutionaries, and pioneers. Aquarians are usually unconventional.

Aquarius is an air sign, the element that symbolizes intellectual energy. Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the zodiac, and it rules the eleventh house of social groups and causes. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, the planet of freedom and rebellion.

Choice #1: Lilac Stone

Lilac stone, a form of quartz, is a blend of subtle hues: it’s primarily lavender, with softly blended accets of pink, rose, ivory, and gray. It’s a relatively new stone on the mineral market.

Because it blends tones of lavender and rose, it embodies the royal presence of violet, the color of spiritual leadership and sovereignty over others, along with the subdued passion of pink. Shades of pink and rose are soothing, calming, even healing. They stir feelings of empathy, acceptance, friendship, and forgiveness. They may even inspire love and romance.

Choice #2: Sodalite

Sodalite, the student’s stone, is a dark blue stone with white bands. Its crisp, contrasting colors are clean and refreshing: sodalite can help you focus, concentrate, remember, learn, and organize your knowledge. Some people keep sodalite near their computers and television sets to absorb electromagnetic emissions.

Blue, the color of the sea and the sky, inspires tranquility. Blue is also associated with meditation, intuition, and psychic ability. Blue crystals can help you connect to the deep sea of consciousness, or soar to new heights for inspiration. White, on the other hand, is the color of higher thought and higher consciousness. White symbolizes spiritual matters — pure, clean, and untainted by the dirt and debris of physical existence. White represents intuition and psychic ability, as well as innocence and purity.
